Seit vielen Jahren setze ich f\u00fcr unterschiedlichste Webhostingprojekte Strato ein. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Strato Support funktioniert grunds\u00e4tzlich recht gut. Die Performance ist f\u00fcr die Projekte in der Regel ausreichend. Auch beim Einsatz von WordPress und Nextcloud waren die Ergebnisse zufriedenstellend bis gut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alles in allem eine Empfehlung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beispiele f\u00fcr Webhosting Projekte bei Strato<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wolf-ortlinghaus.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wolf Ortlinghaus<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rheintrainer.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rhein Trainer<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/makiwaya.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Makiwaya<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/coachandsail.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Coach and Sail<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Handlung erforderlich: Ihre PHP-Version ist veraltet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Am 10.01.2023 ereilte mich von Strato die Email mit dem Betreff &#8222;Handlung erforderlich: Ihre PHP-Version ist veraltet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In der Tat habe ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch die PHP 7.4 Version im Einsatz. Der Communitysupport endete bereits im November 2022 und es werden keine Sicherheitsupdates mehr zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Strato fordert deshalb in dieser Email auf eine aktuelle Version umzustellen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wie gerne w\u00fcrde ich dies tun. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leider stellt Strato zu diesem Zeitpunkt f\u00fcr die Webhostingpakete nur MySQL 5.7 bereit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nextcloud ben\u00f6tigt f\u00fcr PHP 8.0 jedoch MySQL 8 oder MariaDB 10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hostinganbieter wie IONOS bieten hingegen MySQL 8 und MariaDB 10 an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Strato bietet in der gegenw\u00e4rtigen Situation zwei Optionen an:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Option 1: Auf eine aktuelle, kostenfreie PHP-Version wechseln<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>W\u00e4hlen Sie bis zum 06.02.2023 eine aktuelle PHP-Version (PHP 8.0&nbsp;oder h\u00f6her)&nbsp;f\u00fcr Ihre Pakete aus. Pr\u00fcfen Sie Ihre Websites nach einem Wechsel der PHP-Version auf Funktionalit\u00e4t. M\u00f6glicherweise m\u00fcssen Ihre Web-Anwendungen aktualisiert werden, damit sie mit einer aktuellen PHP-Version funktionieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>Option 2: PHP 7.4 kostenpflichtig weiter nutzen<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Aktivieren Sie bis zum 06.02.2023 den PHP Extended Support f\u00fcr Ihre Auftr\u00e4ge. Ab dem 07.02.2023 werden wir Ihnen die <strong>Nutzung von PHP 7.4 mit 7,81 Euro pro Auftrag pro Monat in Rechnung<\/strong> stellen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strato Support Aussage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Leider konnte mir der Strato Support bis jetzt nicht mitteilen wann MySQL 8 bzw. MariaDB 10 zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt wird. Die einzige L\u00f6sung sei es den kostenpflichtigen Extended Support zu w\u00e4hlen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mein pers\u00f6nlicher L\u00f6sungsansatz<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bei dem Strato Hostingpaket werde ich somit auf den Einsatz der Nextcloud verzichten und die Projekte mit Microsoft OneDrive umsetzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fazit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Verhalten von Strato ist f\u00fcr mich nicht nachvollziehbar. Strato bietet in der jetztigen Situation keine kundenfreundliche L\u00f6sung an.
